Euphorbia geroldii

The size of the plant and of its bag can vary a little from the photograph — each one grows at its own pace. We keep them as consistent as we can.
Overview
A crown of thorns without the thorns: this euphorbia from Madagascar produces deep red bracts almost all year on smooth, fleshy stems. It's tough, low-maintenance and always in flower, ideal for sunny edges and pots. Like all euphorbias, it has a white latex that should be handled with care.
Culture
It wants sun or bright light and very well-drained soil: the roots rot if waterlogged. Once established it tolerates drought and needs little feeding. Water moderately and let the soil dry a little between waterings. Wear gloves when pruning because of the latex.
Edible Uses
Not edible: its latex is irritating.
Medicinal
No well-documented medicinal uses. Its latex irritates skin and eyes: wash your hands after handling it and keep it away from children and pets.
